Letting go, new beginnings & the ripple effect.
Just yesterday, the new moon at 28 degrees Aquarius, also brought an annular solar eclipse that was visible in the Antarctic. During an annular eclipses “..the Moon cover nearly all of the Sun’s disk, leaving only a thin ring of sunlight around the darkened outline of our satellite.”
Symbolically, eclipses are known for sudden endings and beginnings. While new moons are generally associated with planting new seeds and ideas, taking new steps and initiative, an eclipse is a time for pause and reflection.
What do you notice when you are still and quiet with yourself? What is at the forefront of your awareness?
This new moon eclipse was also under the ongoing square between Uranus and the Saturn/Neptune conjunction. Let’s look at this in simple terms.
Uranus awakens in the psyche the impulse towards: freedom, independence, liberation, revolution, awakening, sudden & unpredictable change, breakthrough, rebellion, novelty.
Saturn is the material world and the way in which we structure and understand our three dimensional reality. It is the physical, tangible, material plane consisting of boundaries, limitations and responsibility.. It is the linear experience of time and how we are bound by the clock ticking and the years passing.
Neptune is the higher dimension, beyond Saturn’s world - outside of time and space. Neptune says, let go. Here we boundless, timeless, yearning for higher meaning and connection. Neptune is the vision, the dream, it is sympathy and compassion.
When these energies are in conjunction they merge. When they are in a square they are frustration.
Squares stimulate action & reaction. A sharp angle by two forces with completely different “operating systems”. For example, can earth and fire occur simultaneously?
Here is where we have the opportunity to gain mastery over the unconscious. The square says , stay awake!
Major generational shifts are occurring as all the generational planets are entering or have just entered the early degrees of new signs. This is new territory. New beginnings. A new order.
In Aquarius we take a detached, higher view where we can investigate the mind and consciousness. Aquarius is synonymous with freedom through awareness of a cosmic overview. On the opposite end is Leo - “The nature of the sovereign, autonomous central self, developing radiant self love and the essence of leadership. Leo is the self, Aquarius is outside of the self. Neither is indifferent.
Is there “I” without “We”?
Each individual forms this tapestry of humanity. An interdependent, conscious ecosystem.
What is your ripple effect?
All these cosmic unfoldings occur just as the sun now enters the sign of Pisces (Neptune’s resonant modern planet). The visionary who is committed to a dream.
How can we take grounded steps towards a new vision for humanity, anchored in the principles of cosmic order and interconnectedness? It is taken in the pause before a reaction, recognizing that others are also having a subjective experience. It is taken in the choice of words and conscious response. It is taken in the breath that creates space for self awareness, inquiry and discernment and coherence.
Here is where we ask ourselves:
How do I direct my energy and what do I choose to amplify?
How do I meet the other and how do I show up in this shared field?
You and I, all of us, are not separate from what is unfolding.
Until next time, be well.
